Australia has fascinated us with its unique natural beauty and diverse species as a remote but developed country. Australia is one of the few nations that can provide an unforgettable vacation experience regardless of your travel preferences, money, or age. Australians are quite proud of their beaches, and rightly so! Australia offers some of the world's greatest beaches! With a coastline that runs for over 23,000 kilometres, you're sure to locate the ideal beach at Sydney Tours.

It’s the Perfect Roadtrip Destination

Australia, the world's sixth-biggest country and a continent in its own right, spans 2.97 million square miles for you to explore at your leisure. There's enough of an outback and untamed environment to camp in and enjoy in peace, as well as numerous cities and small towns to visit. This is the spot to go if you want to get off the beaten road! You might spend months circling the country and seeing each state, or you could focus on the eastern half of the country for a couple of weeks. You could easily spend weeks on Tasmania's island!

But what if you don't have much time to travel? Within Melbourne and Sydney, you may spend three or four days road travelling down the coast. This is one of my all-time favourite road trips. It's stunning! You may also travel down the famed Great Ocean Road if you just have one or two days. This is not a show to be missed.

It still Conserves Aboriginal Culture

Despite accounting for just around 3% of the population, Australia maintains a significant Aboriginal identity via the preservation of its numerous indigenous peoples, which include over 600 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nations. These indigenous Australians have existed for about 50,000 years and were the first inhabitants before colonialism.

Many of their holy sites may now be visited, including Uluru, the most famous and sacred of them. This monolithic sandstone rock (or mountain! ), also known as Ayers Rock, has held Indigenous rituals for over 10,000 years, and the local Anangu people believe their ancestral spirits still reside there. Imagine viewing the sunset from Uluru — it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Kata Tjuta, Birrarung Marr, Wilpena Pound, Lake Mungo, Grampians National Park, and many more holy Aboriginal sites are worth seeing.

Sydney’s Landmarks Are Rich With History

Sydney is home to world-famous attractions like the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, but there's so much more to see and do. You may learn about Australia's past by taking historical excursions (and ghost tours!) through The Rocks, getting shipwrecked at the former Convict-era shipping yard Cockatoo Island, or participating in the Sydney City Museum Crawl. The Australian Museum, the National Maritime Museum, the Art Gallery of NSW, and the Museum of Contemporary Art are all included in the visit. The best part? The crawl isn't only for visitors; it's a year-round favourite among Australians!

So, if you're a history buff, is it worth it to live in Sydney? That's something we'd absolutely say! Australia, as you can see, has a lot to offer. It's a place that ought to be visited not only once, but several times to witness its many different cultures, unique cities, and wild experiences.
